So this device and technique has been around a while now and I’ve finally bit the bullet and jumped on the bandwagon!
I was gifted this tool from Swiss clinic and opted for the 0.2mm needle to ease myself in as I’ve heard the bigger the needle the more painful it can be and I’m a bit of a wimp!
I use mine twice a day as instructed in the box and I go over the areas 4 times in multiple directions and I have to say, I’ve seen a difference! I suffer from adult acne and since using this my breakouts have reduced and my scarring is fading which is awesome and does wonders for my confidence!
The idea of this is to create small pin pricks in the skin to allow the blood to flow and encourage collagen to be produced, hello anti ageing, and also to help you absorb skincare deeper and for it to be more effective and I’m all for that! And I feel I’m seeing the benefits! Yes I was sent this via brandbassador but these opinions are all my own and I’m so happy I’ve tried this and will keep using it and keep seeing the results.
I have a 20% off discount code for anyone who wants to try this: SWISSCLINIC94X
Let me know if you’ve tried derma rolling and how you’ve got on!
Woah…makeup revolution have stepped up thier game! They have bought out this whole new range of ‘pro’ makeup and I had to get my hands on some bits!
Sadly I wasn’t a fan of the fast base sticks so when I saw they had foundation drops and camouflage foundation coming out i knew I needed it! I ordered f8 in the foundation and f6 in the drops to help lighten and taper the colour to suit me.
I was shocked with this, it blends well and leaves you with a slightly dewy base if you use the drops or matte if you use the camouflage foundation and this baby lasted alllllll day! I have oily skin and this was a dream! It didn’t oxidise either and didn’t melt off my face. I am such a convert to this foundation and don’t think I will be spending money on expensive foundations now I’ve found this dreamy little combo.
I also got the 4K rose gold highlighter quad and it’s so pretty! The glow is natural but beautiful and looks like the Huda beauty highlighters. I am so pleased they’ve bought this range out and really showed that you can get some amazing makeup on the high street!
Now I know we are barely into January but already a very exciting piece of makeup has been launched. It is from my favs make up revolution and it’s the conceal and define full coverage concealer and contour.
They have bought out a large range for all skin colours, and they have shades perfect for concealing and contouring. They have been hotly anticipated and once available I was eager to check them out for myself in my local Superdrug.
After seeing the swatches online I thought I would be a c5 or c6 and wanted to look for a contouring shade. After swatching these for myself I went for c5 for concealing and a c14 for my contour shade.
I used these the next day as I was so excited and I have to say….I was super impressed! Nice and thick…hence the great coverage and they blended out really well. I don’t usually suffer with creasing under my eye so that wasn’t an issue for me, and as they were so pigmented I didn’t need a lot for concealer or contour so these amazingly priced (£4 each) products will last me agesssss! I used the darker shade to contour my cheeks and used small dots as it so pigmented and I was shook! It blended out so well and I was left with an awesome natural contour!
I love makeup revolution and am on thier mailing list but I bought these items myself as I was so excited to use them! Check them out in Superdrug or online at tam beauty!
Everyone loves a glow, whatever the season or weather we always like a glow and I have found a collection of drugstore products that will make you glow like mad but in no way break the bank!!
Firstly the base, now I have found a pretty good dupe for Mac store cream….and it’s only £4! It’s the Mua prism strobe cream in flash. I mix this in with my foundation to help give me a dewy base. And try and avoid using to much powder when going for a glowy look!
After you have concealed and cream contoured it’s onto the magic! Now liquid highlighters are everywhere and whilst I love iconic and cover fx my loves makeup revolution bought out there own version and the colour liquid champagne is such a dupe for the ‘original’ shade by iconic. I put drops on my Cupid’s bow, nose, highest points of my cheeks and slightly above the eyebrows and blend in with my sponge.
And to finish it and make it pop I add the strobe highlight from makeup revolution, a gentle dusting with a flat tan brush and the look is done and the highlight is poppin’!!!
All products are available from either tan beauty or from Superdrug! Check these out for a bargain glow!
As you may have seen recently, Gigi hadid has teamed up with maybelline and created her own range of products. I’m a sucker for pretty packaging and this range was right up my street! It’s a nude pink, it’s sleek and it’s holographic….so instagramable!
I ordered 3 items from the range as the mascara was just lash sensational repackaged and a few other items were out of stock sadly. So I picked up a ‘warm’ eyeshadow palette, gold strobe liquid and one of the lip kits.
The lip kit is a lipstick and lip liner and I got the shade ‘taura’ which is APPARENTLY Gigi’s signature shade….to be fair it’s a lovely nude and very creamy and wearable! The liner too is a nice nude and very creamy and easy to apply. It’s also lasted really well too and didnt have much of a drying feeling.
The next item was the ‘warm’ eyeshadow palette. I will say it’s very glittery and shimmery but the colours aren’t too harsh so they are good for a natural shimmery look. On the back it even has a little guide about how to use the colours and apply the shadows to create a natural easy to wear (and apply) , smokey eye.
The last item was the golden strobe liquid which I really like! It’s great to mix with your foundation for an all over dewy look or to just apply to the cheekbones for a subtle glow, it also it is great to apply a powder highlight over the top of for a more intense highlight.
I actually really liked the products I got and all though the eye palette ain’t as dark as my usual eye shadows it’s really lovely and wearable! Let me know if you’ve tried any other products from this range and what you think!!
Now I am a big fake fan lover and I’m an all year around tanner so I was really excited when I was asked if I would like to try out this product! It’s a spray on ‘dark’ tan.
It comes in a lovely golden bronzed can and as it’s a spray it’s great for tanning everywhere and no dodgy back stripes. And due to the ingredients it’s a non patchy formula, and I have to agree there! I had a great dark tan and really enjoyed using this product! It even contains aloe Vera so also left my skin feel smooth and hydrated as well as that, they squeezed some anti ageing in too! What a winner!
If anyone is looking for a great spray tan then I suggest clicking below and checking these guys out as the colour is lovely and even….what more could you want…..
This lotion is everywhere….all over the internet….and I had to try it out! I am a lush lover anyway but this lotion I am ashamed to admit, I had never used before but after the online claims I went straight out and bought a pot!
The claims are that it’s helping thousands of people sleep….sleep better and deeper and who wouldn’t want that! Now I’m the type of person who wakes up at midnight, 1am, 3am and then wake up feeling like I’ve barely slept so I was dying to give it a go!
The smell….the smell is like lavender and gingerbread! I know it’s oatmeal and now I know that I can smell oatmeal and raisin cookies! So even if it doesn’t work….I will happily be soft and smell like a cookie all day.
Ok here we go….so day (night) one….I woke up twice but got back to sleep so much quicker and I felt like I was in more of a deep sleep
Night 2….I again applied it generously to my arms and my neck and chest area woke up twice but felt really well slept in the morning
Night 3…..again I had the same experience of waking but feeling well rested
Night 4….I slept all night! I didn’t wake up once and I woke up feeling so well slept!
With my illness I usually have to to sleep in the day but this lotion (so far) has seemed to stop this as I’m sleeping so deeply at night. It was £7.95 and it’s been better than any shop bought sleeping tablets I’ve ever had.
If you struggle to sleep I really suggest trying this! Plus it smells amazing so give it a go!
I am a big fan of makeup revolution and have been lucky to be sent some of their items as blogger mail, but this I couldn’t wait for and knew I needed to own. So The day it came out I ordered it and eagerly check the post everyday until it arrived. For a testing video please see my YouTube video https://t.co/n56IWE4ZhB
It is a large plastic highlighter palette which included baked highlights, gradient highlight, shimmer bricks and trio and 4 standard highlights. I love the names of the pans too…shook, extra and bougie were a few of my favs! I couldn’t wait to have a play with this and I was not disappointed!
As you can see by my nose and Cupid’s bow….the glow is real! This is a combination of the colours LIT and EXTRA (also used on my cheeks) and I used SLAY on the inner corners of my eyes to make them pop! These shades as so beautiful and glittery and I think they will also make lovely eye shadows too. I’m so excited to have a play around with this palette as it’s so pigmented and perfect for the glitzy Christmas season!
I ordered this online from tam beauty and it was £15 and if I say so, it was worth the money! They do a palette for lighter skin tones too which is called glow getter and it has an identical design and layout.
